It’s my second blogaversary! Can you believe it’s been two years since I went on twitter and started blogging? I can barely believe it myself. You’d think Mom would have put up a better picture of me for my blogaversary, but she picked this one cuz she loves my laser eyes. I need opposable thumbs so I can do this stuff myself. Then I’d have better pictures!
Now that I’ve been at it for two years, I’ve made some decisions about my blog, or should I say blogs. That’s right, blogs. I’ve been trying to do two blogs. This one, and Pumpkin’s Stroller Brigade. The stroller brigade never did catch on, so I’m going to close that one down and move the articles over to here. It’s hard enough coming up with stuff for one blog, let alone two. I was hoping to get more pals to post adventures on the stroller brigade, but it just didn’t happen. That doesn’t mean I don’t want to post pals’ adventures. Anyone who doesn’t have their own blog and would like to post here is welcome to. Use the contact form to let me know you’d like to submit a guest post and we’ll work out the details.
I’ve also decided not to try to post every week. When I started this blog I was just a kitten and everything was new and exciting and an adventure. Then Candy & EK came to live with us and that made more excitement. But after two years, blogging about the same park and the same lake and the same ducks over and over gets a little old. And the stuffies (Evie, Treasure, and Barnabas) get to go on the best adventures because cats can’t go furry many places. So I’m only gonna blog when I really have something to write about instead of on a schedule. This was supposed to be for fun and I want it to stay that way.
So that’s the news about how my blog’s gonna be going forward. I won’t be writing as much, but when I do, I hope it will be worth reading.

MOL, I think it is awesome you picked Allie and told her brothers not to butt in! As for the blog thing, I think everykitty needs to figure out what works for them, and what they really want out of having a blog – because it is different for everyone. Obviously, I have books, products and causes to promote along with my everyday life – plus my human is a writer and journalist and a rather compulsive one at that – so we are daily. But she has other blogs she is getting into doing on her own (i.e., without me, if you can believe that!) and there is NO way she is going to do them more than once or twice a week! (And not just ’cause I said so.)
No writers in this house. I think that’s part of why I want to just blog sometimes. Mom says she would have made a good editor because she’s very good at technical things, but not so good at original writing. Plus she works long hours and is busy outside of work, too, so it’s hard to have time to write every week.
I’m glad you have something every day. Yours is often the first blog I read each day. *hugs*
Happy Blogaversary, sweetie! On one paw, I’m sad that you won’t be blogging as much because I’ll miss your stories. Then again, on the other paw, maybe that means you’ll have more time to snuggle with your Henry-bear??? *innocent eyes*
