Oliver goes to Seattle

OMC! I can’t believe I haven’t blogged since February. *glares at mom* I think I need a new typist. Mom’s too lazy to help me blog regularly.

As you know, I got a new baboon buddy named Oliver. He got to travel with mom to her business meeting in Seattle. They went a few days early to have some fun first. Mom made a book of the places they went and the things they saw. They also got to have lunch with the humans of @TinyPearlCat, @SeattleP, and @DeadTurkeyTweet.

Here’s the book from the trip:

Oliver isn’t the only one who got to travel. I went to Colorado Springs with mom. We had two whole days that were just the two of us! I got lots of cuddle and play time and no interruptions from Candy or EK. Woo hoo!

We were supposed to go to Garden of the Gods so I could walk around and climb the rocks, but the weather didn’t cooperate. So instead we went to the Broadmoor Hotel. This hotel is over 100 years old and is very fancy. We walked around the grounds for a while and went to the on-site pet store. We didn’t find anything to buy. We also went to check out a boutique pet store in Old Colorado City. We didn’t find anything there either, but it was fun to get out and see new places. Here’s some of the pics we took:

That’s not the end of the excitement around here. Mom has a big trip coming up. She’s going to Alaska! The stuffies are arguing over who gets to go with mom. I don’t know who’s going to win the argument. I only know that I don’t get to go. We do get a cool cat sitter. She’s the daughter of one of mom’s friends and she’s been around for as long as I’ve been around. She’s really nice and she’s a cat person too! She’s even gonna stay here so it will be just like mom being home. Well, almost. She’s not mom, but we do like her.

That’s it for today. Have a great week everyone!

  1. Wow, that was quite the trip you had. We’ve never been anywhere…’cept the vet and that doesn’t count. We hope your mom has a good time in Alaska…and you have a good time with your cat sitter. 🙂

  2. So good to hear from you! How exciting that you got to take a trip to Colorado Springs. I always love seeing you riding in your stroller.

  3. Good help be so hard to find. My bloggie has not had much attention either until this past week when I got to meet Frankie and Ernie in the furs. It do take a momentous occasion like that to light a fire unner the moms’ behinds. Bummer that you cannot gets to go to Alaska but if’n your pet sitter gibs lots of skritches, home might be where you wants to be!
