The Official Relaunch of My Blog

I’ve been working on my new blog for about a week. It’s starting to look like a blog and not like a mess, but I still have a long way to go. I would love your feedback on how things look and how I can improve my blog.

I’d also like to make some changes to my content. The first change is I’d like to start a new feature – guest bloggers. I would love to have a guest blog once a week, but that will take time to build up to. For now I’ll count myself lucky to start out with a guest blogger once a month. Let me know in a comment if you’d like to do a guest blog.

Not sure what other changes I’d like to make. I guess a good blog is always evolving. It will be interesting to see what the next year brings.

Speaking of years, my 2nd and EK’s 1st birthday are coming up in a couple of weeks. So in honor of our birthdays, and to help launch my new blog, I want to do a giveaway. But this one will be different. I want all my pals to be able to enter no matter where they live or what kind of animal they are. So, the winner will receive a $20 USD gift certificate to their favorite pet store. The store must have the ability to allow me to buy the gift certificate online and send it by email. That’s just part one of my giveaway.

Now for part two. In honor of BlogPaws having been this weekend, and the commitment I made last year at BlogPaws to help Be the Change for Pets, I will also donate $20 USD to the animal charity of the winner’s  choice. How’s that for a prize? Something for you and something for your favorite animal charity!

Hill’s Science Diet Giveaway Results

It’s time to announce the winners of the 15 bags of Hill’s® Science Diet® Hairball Control cat food. There were only 16 entries, so everybody wins! Concatulations everyone! 15 of you will get your bags direct from Hill’s and someone local to me will get their food from me because I have some extra here at the house. Unfortunately, as wonderful as this food is, one of us in the household has an extremely sensitive tummy and didn’t react well to it (glares at offending sisfur). EK and I think this is wonderful food. If it were up to us, Mom would switch us to this. Unfortunately, the kitty with the sensitive tummy outvotes the rest of us. :(
