Happy Sunday everyone! I got something really fun to share with you today – we had a visit from @tinypearlcat’s mom, Rochelle.
The fun started before she even got to the house. Mom picked Rochelle up from the airport and they went straight to Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge so they could see the bison. And boy, did they see bison! The bison practically came right up to the car. It was a little scary.
Can you see all the babies in there? (Click on the pictures to biggify.) Mom loves seeing the bison. Sometimes they go to the side of the park nearest the road she takes to work and she can see them as she drives. Look how close to the car they came:
Then they finally got to the house and I got to meet Rochelle. She brought us toys! Wasn’t that nice? I got a new ball to play fetch with. I played with it for days and days and days. There were also feather butt toys. Candy’s still going crazy with those. Feather butt toys are her favorite. Pearl must have told her mom what our favorite toys are. Either that, or she’s such a great cat lady that she just knows what kitties like!
Next day they drove all over the place. They went from our house to Boulder, Nederland, Central City, Idaho Springs, Echo Lake, over Squaw Pass, and finally to Morrison where they had dinner. They were hoping to see lots of fall colors, but they were about a week early for prime color. They did get to see some color though. Barnabus and Lippe Jr went, too, along with some of Pearl’s stuffies and Flat Pearl. Look at all the cool stuff they saw!
We had more visiting time with Rochelle that evening. Then the next morning she had to go home. I’m sad it was a short visit, but glad we got to see her at all! It’s so fun having visits from Twitter pals. Hope more pals can come to visit. We have lots of room!
Howdy everyone. I have to hang my head in shame big time this week. Not only have I been neglecting my blog, but I owe someone not one but TWO reviews. We’ve been so busy, there hasn’t been time for mom to help me with my blog. Well she’s finally helping me get caught up. I’ve gotten two different products from chewy.com to check out. The first is Halo Liv-a-Littles freeze dried cat & dog treats. They’re pure meat and nothing added. Just what we kitties crave. Chewy sent our favorite flavor – chicken! All three of us gobbled them right up. Mom didn’t get a pic of EK. Remember, click on the pictures to biggify them!
The next thing was sort of a surprise. We got to try Natural Balance Platefulls Grain-Free Duck, Chicken & Pumpkin Formula. What we got wasn’t a surprise cuz we get to pick what we’re gonna taste test from a list. The surprise was how many we got! I thought they’d send one or two packets. When the box showed up, it was a full case of 24 packets! I couldn’t believe it!
We like doing reviews for chewy.com. It’s nice to be able to taste test new stuff before mom spends money on it. And once in a while we get a huge surprise from them. Mom came home last night to find a box on the porch from chewy.com, and we weren’t expecting anything. You won’t believe how much stuff was in it!There were tons of treats, a great big soft fluffy towel, a beach ball, two can cozies, some wrist bands and some other stuff for mom. The best thing that was in there for mom isn’t in the picture because she already took it to work – a stainless steel travel coffee mug! Mom tried it out this morning and it really keeps the coffee hot. So she thinks she got the best thing in the box, but we know better. The kitty treats were the best things in the box! Can’t wait to start nomming on them. Thank you chewy.com for our pawsome present!
Happy Sunday everyone! Mom went to Blogpaws without me this time. But she did take Lippe Jr. and Barnabus. And Mini Breeze is visiting us so he went along too! They had a great time, got to visit with lots of friends, went to some great workshops, and brought home lots and lots of goodies. In fact, there’s way too many goodies to review them individually, so I’ll be reviewing several things at a time. But for today, there’s just some pictures. I’ll let Barnabus tell you all about it.
Barnabus here. The hotel was the Westin Lake Las Vegas and it was spectacular. We had an awesome room with a patio outside. It was so relaxing. It was worth the trip just for the hotel. But of course, that wasn’t the only reason we were there. I’m only going to post a few of the over 100 pictures mom took. I’m not posting any of the embarrassing ones. At least not today. Maybe someday in the future when I have nothing else to post about. *wink* MOL!
Mom was really excited when she saw what we won from the Catification Lounge. It’s covered in sisal, which is EK’s favorite thing to scratch. When Mom unboxed it EK jumped right on it and started scratching. None of us have used the hideaway part yet, but we probably will eventually.
